Maia and Philip’s Journey
Maia and Philip’s journey together began at their friends’ wedding in the English countryside in the summer of 2022. They technically met the day before the wedding while helping set up, though he doesn’t remember this initial encounter. It wasn’t until the morning after brunch that they truly connected. Maia convinced Philip to stay in the village with her instead of returning to London as he had planned. That's a smart girl right there!
Meet Maia and Philip
Maia, originally from the tiny island of Molokai in Hawaii, now calls Venice Beach, LA, her home. She works at Snapchat on the Content Partnerships team and describes herself as a home-loving Cancer who enjoys cooking, spending time with her dogs, and traveling for culinary adventures. Maia’s love for laughter and her easygoing nature shines through in every interaction.
Philip hails from London, England, a city he still holds dear. He enjoys exploring new experiences, socializing with friends over good food and wine, and cherishes quiet beach days with Maia and their dogs.
A Magical Elopement in Las Vegas
Their elopement in Las Vegas was nothing short of magical. Maia’s infectious laughter and Philip’s smoldering good looks were so much fun to capture, reflecting their genuine connection and love for each other.
Our Night in Las Vegas
I met them at Rebar, where they were having some drinks, we stopped at Good Pie because their pizza is fantastic and finished at the chapel having a blast. I shot on film and digital, and here are the film ones since they're my favorites for sure. What do you think?
