I’m giving you these tips I’ve learned over the years and so many weddings. I think they're incredibly helpful when it comes to organizing spaces, timelines, and more so that everything runs smoothly and the photos are perfect!
HAVE YOUR WEDDING YOUR WAY
That day should represent you, just as you are. Leave aside any protocols that don't represent you and put your personality into it... Do you want to get married in sneakers? Do you want to bring out the tables and eat on the grass? Do you want to dance to electronic music instead of a waltz? Do you love classical music? DO WHAT YOU FEEL! It's your day, put your stamp on it.

SAY YES TO THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
DAYTIME CEREMONY, NIGHTTIME PARTY
Engagement photos are a beautiful excuse!
The main reason for this event is to get to know each other a little better and for you to experience being in front of a camera! Most of us aren't used to having a photographer take our pictures, so this meeting is ideal for experiencing it and getting you comfortable with it 🙂
The idea is to spend some time together somewhere you like, and I promise that between conversations and jokes, we'll take some incredible photos.
If there's one timing I highly recommend, it's this one, and I'll tell you why:
Light is everything, and the more natural light we have, the better!
Having the ceremony during the day allows you to appreciate the surroundings in an incredible way; everything looks warmer and more harmonious, and, of course, you can see all the guests!
The ideal? Start the ceremony about two hours before sunset: We'll have ideal lighting for the ceremony, greetings, and photos of you and your family, and a beautiful sunset to enjoy. As night falls... the dance floor lights up!

GET READY IN A large AND BRIGHT PLACE
TIME IS PEACE OF MIND
Bridal preparations often involve a lot of people (family, friends, makeup artists, stylists, dressmakers, photographers, etc.), so it's a good idea to have a comfortable place where everyone can socialize. Whether you prefer to get ready in a hotel, your home, your parents' house, or a modern Airbnb, comfort is important. And why bright? Natural light is the best ally for all vendors! We'll be able to take photos without relying on artificial lights. A place with large windows will be the best!
A wedding is a day that is planned many months, or even years, in advance, and having the timing of this day well-organized is no small detail. Short schedules can create unnecessary stress. Consult with each vendor about the time needed for preparations and create a realistic and organized schedule.
One more piece of advice? Leave half an hour free before the ceremony! Seriously! Something always gets delayed... and with all the emotions of the moment, it's better to have too much time than not enough.

TRADITIONS ARE RENEWED...
SEE EACH OTHER BEFORE THE CEREMONY?
Give yourselves this moment; I assure you it will be beautiful.
Seeing each other before the ceremony gives you the opportunity to have a moment for yourselves, enjoy a few minutes of peace and quiet, and take a break together before embarking on the great adventure!
Plus, we can take advantage of the fact they're together and take the bride and groom photos here so it doesn't take up time during the party... win-win!!
HEY MR. DJ...
IF THE CEREMONY IS AT NIGHT, LIGHT IT UP!
Two tips that will make a difference on the dance floor and in the photos!!
Distribute colored lights around the entire dance floor (not just from one side) so there's always color no matter where you are.
Another very important tip!! Excessive smoke tends to ruin photos... use it sparingly.
If the ceremony is under the stars or indoors, it's recommended to add as much light as possible.
String lights look beautiful and give off a soft but very effective light, both on the guests and the bride and groom. It's important that you're illuminated, both from the front and from behind! Additional lighting adds a lot to the photos; it gives dimension and a warm atmosphere to the space, which looks incredible.

BREATHE AND EMBRACE THE UNEXPECTED
Even though you try to keep everything under control, unexpected events can arise, and often do... If something goes off plan... just BREATHE and make peace with everything. IT'S YOUR DAY!! Don't let anything external obscure the purpose and essence of everything. Embrace and enjoy the adventure.
CELEBRATE, LAUGH, TOAST, HUG YOUR LOVED ONES, AND ENJOY IT. IT WILL BE AN INCREDIBLE DAY!
